A six-year-old girl is fighting for her life in hospital after a crash involving three cars Bolton.
Police were called to reports of the incident in Chorley Old Road at 10.30pm last night (Saturday). The incident is believed to have involved three vehicles.
One of the cars is understood to have been travelling east along Chorley Old Road. After a second car pulled on to the road from Avenue Street, the first car crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a third.

Three people from the third car were taken to hospital for treatment, including a six-year-old girl, whose injuries are described as "life-threatening".
Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
"This includes anyone with relevant dashcam, CCTV, mobile, or doorbell footage from the area and captures any of the incident," the force said in a statement today.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 0161 846 4741 or 101, quoting log 3388 of 9/11/24. Alternatively, the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
