Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 3, "Daima," is the first installment of the new Dragon Ball anime to be primarily set in Demon Realm. It also features the smallest cast of any episode yet, with an exclusive focus on Goku, Shin, and Glorio. Their first night in Demon Realm is a ton of fun, and gives all three moments to shine.

Episode 3 of Dragon Ball DAIMA only follows a handful of characters, but they have no trouble carrying the anime on their own. Outside the Shōnen's leads, demons from the Third Demon Realm show how their power stacks up to Goku's, and Glorio is implied to potentially not be as dangerous as fans thought. The preview for Episode 4 also shows that some hyped up characters will finally be debuting soon.
10 The Demon Bar Patrons Stand No Chance Against Goku

With Goku not having gotten to finish his dinner prior to Glorio's arrival on Earth, he's still hungry by the time he gets to Demon Realm. This leads him, Glorio, and Shin to a bar, where Goku can get hamburgers to fill his stomach. In the bar, Goku's lack of pointy ears is noticed by the demon patrons, and they attack him, unaware of who they're dealing with.
The demon bar patrons are too weak to pose any type of threat to the new Dragon Team. Glorio strikes them down with swift, powerful blows, and Goku makes short work of his own opponents, while still eating his burgers, in spite of the massive drop in power he's experienced. Shin's impressed reaction to the way Glorio fights, following Glorio's claim that he's from the Third Demon Realm, just like the bar patrons, also implies that these demons aren't known to be particularly strong.

9 The Demon Archers Aren't Well-Suited to Fighting in Their Own World
The Demon Archers' Arrows Move Too Slowly to Be Effective
Almost immediately after Goku, Glorio, and Shin arrive in Demon Realm, they're attacked by a group of demons. These large and intimidating demons come armed with bows and arrows, and they attempt to shoot Goku down. Unfortunately for them, they've chosen a poor fighting style for the world they inhabit.
As revealed in Episode 3, the Third Demon Realm is filled with a thick gas emitted by volcanoes. Because of the presence of this gas, the demon archers' arrows move too slowly to hit any member of the Dragon Team. This leads them to a rapid defeat at Goku's hands.

7 The Tamagami Will Re-Enter the Picture in Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 4
The Guardians of Demon Realm's Dragon Balls Are in the Preview For the Next Episode
The Tamagami have been hyped up since Dragon Ball DAIMA began. Created by Neva, the Tamagami are mechanical warriors designed to protect Demon Realm's Dragon Balls. In the preview for Episode 4, this looming threat to Goku and his friends looks to become an active one.
Fans have expected the Dragon Team to fight the Tamagami since Episode 2, as Goku and Vegeta are shown fighting them in the anime's opening credits. The Tamagami are known to be some of the strongest characters in the series, as Gomah is too scared to even try fighting them. In his weakened state, Goku may not be able to overcome them easily.

6 Dabura May Not Be Out of the Picture in Dragon Ball DAIMA
Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 3 Suggests a Future Role For Demon Realm's Former King
The previous King of Demon Realm, Dabura was turned into candy and eaten by Majin Buu in Dragon Ball Z's Buu Saga. His death is the inciting incident for the series, with Gomah only becoming the new King of Demon Realm by virtue of being next in line for the throne. Episode 3 of DAIMA suggests that Dabura's death wasn't as final as fans have thought for decades.
In "Daima," Goku notices a statue of Dabura shortly after arriving in Demon Realm. The way the camera lingers on it, as well as his presence in the opening credits, heavily implies a major role for him in the series. If Dabura does come back to life, he will present a massive problem for the Dragon Team, as his power level is equal to Super Perfect Cell's.

5 Warp Decides Who Can Cross Between Dimensions
Goku Has to Impersonate a Demon to Get Past Warp
Warp is among the many fascinating new additions to Dragon Ball's lore that DAIMA has introduced. The series has revealed that there are endless dimensions within Universe 7, including the three Demon Realms. To go between dimensions, travelers must gain permission from the strict and short-tempered Warp.

Warp isn't a fighter, but they hold power over every other character in the anime. Under most circumstances, only demons from the First Demon Realm are permitted to travel between the different Demon Realms, and only demons are allowed into any of the Demon Realms. Warp isn't infallible, as Shin is able to successfully make him believe Goku is a demon, but the Supreme Kai during this encounter is also clearly fearful of enraging them.
4 Gomah May Not Be as Strong as Fans Thought
Glorio All But Says That Gomah is Weaker Than Majin Buu
King Gomah doesn't appear in Episode 3 of Dragon Ball DAIMA. However, he is discussed by Shin and Glorio. What they have to say about the new ruler of Demon Realm doesn't make him seem particularly intimidating.

As things stand, things are going exceptionally well for Gomah, with him ruling over Demon Realm, and having successfully kidnapped Dende. However, despite the fear Shin displays of him and his sorcery in Episode 2, Glorio isn't concerned about Gomah's power level. As far as Glorio is concerned, Goku having beaten Majin Buu means he should have no trouble overcoming Gomah.
3 Shin Gains a New Origin in Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 3
The Supreme Kai Has a New Backstory That Puts Him at Odds with Glorio
Close
Shin, the Supreme Kai, doesn't shine as brightly in DAIMA 's third episode as his traveling companions do, but he's already showing how he may be the most valuable member of the team. Being smarter than Goku, and more familiar with Goku than Glorio, he's the only one capable of keeping the young Saiyan in check. The episode also gives the Supreme Kai a new origin, revealing him to be a Glind from the Second Demon Realm. This background gives him the ability to stay alert of potential holes in the stories Glorio tells Goku.

Shin displays a new power in "Daima," temporarily transmuting Goku's ears to make them pointy. This ability, as well as his capacity to shut Goku's big mouth, is why the Dragon Team is able to reach Demon Realm at all. And while he may not fight in Episode 3, Shin is, at minimum, on par with Kid Goku in strength.
2 Goku Easily Takes Down Every Demon in His Way
Even a Weakened Goku Remains Nearly Unstoppable

Goku steals the show in Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 3. He may be weaker than fans have seen him in decades, but that doesn't stop him from being a one-child-army, or from being immensely entertaining. Goku engages in two fights against residents of the Third Demon Realm in "Daima," and he dominates both of them.

Dragon Ball Daima Episode 4 will explore more of the Demon Realm as Goku meets new friends and foes -- including the mysterious Masked Majin.
Just as in the original Dragon Ball, Goku's biggest weakness is his mind. He needs Shin to shut him up and stop him from offending Warp, and he's naively going along with everything Glorio tells him. Goku in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super acts as a confident leader, able to fight his way out of any situation he gets himself and his friends into. In his current state, Goku's mistakes could have far more dire consequences.

For the second episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA in a row, Glorio is in a greater position of power than anyone else. Glorio has assumed the role of leader for the new Dragon Team, and he's put Goku in a position where he has no choice but to trust him. While Shin is able to suspect that Glorio is selling them lies, there's nothing he can do about them either.
Glorio proves himself to be a powerful fighter in Episode 3. His gun fires potent energy blasts, and his physical strength and combat skills are far beyond the other demons presented in the episode. Based on Shin's reaction to Glorio's brutal performance in the bar fight, demons from the Third Demon Realm aren't meant to be this strong.
