'Plus' Magazine Rebrands To Expand Coverage And Is Now 'Health Plus Wellness'

Plus, a magazine focused on HIV-related health information, has been rebranded as Health Plus Wellness and will now feature broader coverage of health and wellness within the LGBTQ+ community.

The first edition of the rebranded magazine is its annual Latinx issue.

"As a proud Latina of indigenous ancestry, I am honored to present our annual Latinx issue, which focuses on the health and wellness of our vibrant community," writes Desirée Guerrero, editor in chief of the Advocate and Plus.

Guerrero adds, "This issue marks an exciting moment in our publication's history. As Plus magazine, we've been dedicated to bringing our readers the latest news and inspiring stories around HIV and sexual health for nearly 30 years. Now, we are reintroducing our print version as Health Plus Wellness, expanding our content to include all aspects of health and wellness to help people in every community live their best lives possible."

Medical advances have turned HIV into a more manageable disease, so it is now time to offer broader health coverage, the magazine states.
