Saltwound Reveals Debut Album "The Temptation Of Pain" Details; Drops New Music Video "Severance"
Following their recent signing to SharpTone Records, Northern Californian deathcore juggernauts Saltwound have announced their long-awaited, debut full-length album, "The Temptation Of Pain," will be released on 1st November.
Saltwound's debut is a colossal beast, seething with furious brutality that roars to life with the most ferocious riffs metalcore fans will hear this year. Featuring tracks like the previously released single "Hollow," "The Temptation Of Pain" rears its head with intense chaos as elements from deathcore and metalcore collide in a violent explosion of sound.
Today, the band reveals the record's second single, "Severance," which features guest Nick Chance of Distinguisher and is accompanied by the turbulent music video below.
Commenting on the song's message, vocalist Spencer Timmons says:
"It's my wish to separate myself from the world in a macro and micro sense. In my personal life and what I see going on, it's nothing but pain, misery, and things I can't stand. So, you want to be set free and separated from this darkness. I love music more than anything, but so much of this industry repulses me."
