Dr Jana Denzel sensationally resigns from The Apprentice, as seen in the teaser at the end of Thursday's episode.
In scenes set to air, Lord Sugar told him in the boardroom before waving him out: "I'm sorry that you wish to resign. Off you go!"
Dr Denzel -- who has A-list clients at his leading Harley Street cosmetic dentistry practice -- resigns from the process in episode five, yet to air on our screens until Thursday the 27 February.
After a brief dalliance in the boardroom in Thursday's latest episode, Lord Sugar decided that it was the cosmetic dentist's time to step up and be the project manager in a task.
He told him: "Jana, you know I've got a gut feeling, you have been very, very quiet in the last four weeks. I haven't seen much from you. You know what, the next task, you are going to be the project manager. Like it or not."
Tasked with designing chocolate easter eggs, Dr Denzel must take the helm as one of the project managers competing on the task. However, it is in this episode that the dentist decides that the process isn't for him.

It isn't the first time that a candidate has quit before being fired on the business show because it is an incredibly tough process. The latest resignation saw Shannon Martin tell Lord Sugar in 2023: "I just don't think it's the environment for me."
Shama Amin said she was left with no choice but to quit in the 2022 series because of her rheumatoid arthritis which, according to the NHS, is an autoimmune disease that means the immune system attacks the cells that line joints by mistake, making the joints swollen, stiff and painful.
She said: "Mentally, I was strong enough to carry on. But my body wasn't allowing me to carry on. So I had no choice but to make a difficult decision like that."
As the news of Dr Denzel's resignation was leaked by tabloid newspapers last week, his name cropped up in the headlines again. Reports emerged he was accused by other candidates of using the word "coloured" to describe a character in a task.
It was flagged once the dentist had left the process but the BBC took action to address it with the former contestant. The reason to why Dr Jana quit The Apprentice was unrelated to the controversy.
A spokesperson on behalf of The Apprentice said: "We were made aware of an ill-informed comment made by Jana during the process and action was taken.
"Whilst we have made it very clear to Jana that his use of language was not acceptable, we are confident there was no ill-intent behind it and the concerns of all parties involved have been addressed and resolved. Jana withdrew from the process for completely unrelated and separate reasons, and he has our full support."
