SHREVEPORT, La. - Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr., swore in 10 new deputies for the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

The newly appointed deputies are:

- Valerie Lane and Marvette Bright: Food Services

- Makayla Dooley: Communications Officer 1

- TraMarcus Harris: Re-Entry Center

- Francis Mogavero: Patrol

- Malaysia Simon: Community Relations and Crime Prevention

- Hunter Duckworth, Sumner Scott, and Collin Hughes: Corrections

- Alexus James: Internal Auditor
