CASS COUNTY, Mich. (WSBT) -- One person is hurt after a crash Friday in Cass County.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on US-12 in Porter Township.

Police say a 53-year-old White Pigeon woman was attempting an improper U-Turn when she was hit by another vehicle.

She was taken to the hospital for her injuries, however her condition is not known at this time.

Police say both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
