Despite several rumors and speculations emerging as a direct result of Roma's bad start, Daniele De Rossi's position is not at risk.

Such is the statement made by today's edition of Il Messaggero.

The Italian newspaper reports that the Friedkins' arrival in the Italian capital on Monday was not due to the team's underwhelming start to the season: the flight had been scheduled almost a week ago as Dan and Ryan Friedkin were expected to come around Trigoria and hold various meetings without any pre-planned confrontations with the coach.

The Friedkins' visit comes more so in light of the latest developments regarding Roma's new stadium.

In the meantime, the newspaper writes that the Friedkins have full confidence in De Rossi and trust that the manager will turn it around.

The Friedkins are also said to be aware that this is only the start of a new long-term project: starting from scratch after so many important investments is not an option the American owners are willing to consider.
