Robert De Niro recently shared a father-daughter activity he enjoys with his 1-year-old.

On Wednesday, February 19, the 81-year-old legendary actor appeared on BBC Radio 2's The Scott Mills Breakfast Show hosted by Scott Mills to promote his new Netflix series Zero Day.

After the 51-year-old radio host asked De Niro what movies and TV shows he watches, the Taxi Driver star revealed he spends most of his time watching kids programming with his daughter Gia, whom he shares with girlfriend Tiffany Chen.

"Well, I don't watch as many movies as I should. I try to watch films... I just want to keep up, but I watch current events, if you will news [and] stuff like that," he explained. "Now I watch, with my little girl, The Wiggles and Ms. Rachel."

The Wiggles are an Australian children's music group that has been around since the '90s -- multiple TV shows with them have aired. Ms. Rachel is a popular YouTuber for toddlers.

The Oscar-winning actor admitted he had never heard of these children entertainers before his little one, telling Mills, "I mean, I didn't know of them until I started seeing them, and my daughter loves to watch them."

The DJ also jokingly asked if the Goodfellas actor would like to collaborate with the Wiggles in the future, to which he responded, "Well, I don't know about that, but they're great! They got lots of energy. They're terrific."

A clip of De Niro was posted to the show's Instagram, and fans took to the comment section to joke about his newfound enjoyment of The Wiggles.

"DeNiro AS a wiggle is what parents and kids alike are demanding," one fan commented.

"Wiggles x Robert de Niro would go crazyyy," someone else wrote.

"What tremendous chat! πŸ˜‚ Never thought I'd have much in common with Robert de Niro," another individual commented. "Certainly wouldn't have put money on it being The Wiggles!🀣 πŸ’›πŸ’œβ€οΈπŸ’™."

This isn't the first time the two-time Golden Globe Award-winning actor mentioned the programming he watches with his toddler. Last month, he told The Sunday Times, "I spend my mornings watching Ms. Rachel with [Gia], and I give her her bottle."
