Yet another Colorado football game will be on national television.
On Saturday night, it was announced that CU's matchup at Texas Tech on Nov. 9 at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas, will kick off at 2 p.m. MT. The game will be televised nationally by Fox.
The 23rd-ranked Buffaloes (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) will be making their first trip to Lubbock since a 31-26 win over the Red Raiders (6-3, 4-2) on Dec. 27, 2007.
Including the season finale against Oklahoma State on Nov. 29, CU has now had seven games selected this season for national network TV, extending the school record. The previous mark was five, in 2023.
CU has also had three games television by the flagship ESPN network. Having 10 games on either national networks or ESPN is a school record, topping eight in 2023. Game times and TV selections for the Buffs' other two games - Nov. 16 vs. Utah and Nov. 23 at Kansas - have yet to be announced.
The Buffs, who have won two in a row, were on a bye this weekend. However, it was a good weekend for CU in the Big 12 title race.
CU began the weekend in fourth place and finished in a second-place tie after No. 11 Iowa State (7-1, 4-1) was upset by Texas Tech and No. 17 Kansas State (7-2, 4-2) was upset at Houston.
