SUMTER, S.C. -- Roughly 2700 customers in Sumter County are without power in Sumter County as of 9:45 p.m. on Sunday.
According to Duke Energy's outage maps, three clustered outages have been reported south of U.S. 378, impacting an estimated 2,774 customers in western parts of Sumter and portions of the Audubon Park and Archdale communities.
Duke Energy said the outages were reported just before 9 p.m. and have been assigned to crews for repair. Repair times for the three outage sections range from 11:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. -- though actual times can vary.
The Sumter Police Department also announced the outage to residents but didn't have any additional information.
