Eleven people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Monday

* At 12:12 a.m. Wade Kendall, 37, Brazil, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

Sunday

* At 4:13 p.m. Shaunna McIntire, 23, Albany, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

* At 1:39 a.m. David Schmitt, 52, Coatesville, was booked in on a local warrant.

Saturday

* At 4:58 a.m. Benjamin Volkers, 26, Terre Haute, was lodged at the jail for driving while intoxicated.

Friday

* At 3:44 p.m. Brandon Weaver, 51, Greencastle, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction and resisting law enforcement.

* At 3:37 p.m. Parveer Singh, 35, Windsor, N.J., was housed at the jail for possession of a narcotic drug.

* At 2:48 p.m. Jacob Wright, 33, Greencastle, was booked in for intimidation and criminal mischief.

* At 10:55 a.m. Sara Sutherlin, 37, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail for theft.

* At 8:59 a.m. Julie Ralston-Bailey, 47, Terre Haute, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

Thursday

* At 3:34 p.m. Tom Dloniak, 51, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for probation violation.

* At 10:22 a.m. Telisha Vanatta, 41, Greencastle, was booked in on a local warrant.

Greencastle firefighters responded to several recent dispatches.

* At 6:23 p.m. on Sunday, GFD was called to a fire alarm at DePauw University housing at 107 W. Hanna St. Crews discovered the alarm was due to cooking. They reset the alarm and returned to service at 6:38 a.m.

* At 7:33 p.m. on Saturday, firefighters investigated an alarm at Vernon Jordan Hall, 220 E. Olive St. They were unable to determine a cause and left the scene at 7:48 p.m.

* At 11:02 a.m. on Saturday, crews investigated a suspicious package at Vine and Poplar streets. Upon investigation, they found the package was not hazardous and returned to service at 11:13 a.m.

* At 8:38 p.m. on Friday, GFD responded to a cooking fire at 720 Northview Apartments. The fire had been extinguished upon arrival. They ensured it was out and returned to service at 8:50 p.m.

* At 8:28 p.m. on Friday, firefighters investigated an alarm at Kappa Kappa Gamma, 507 S. Locust St. They determined the alarm was activated due to hair care products and returned to service at 8:34 p.m.

* At 11:04 a.m. on Friday, crews responded to a fire alarm at Greencastle Christian Church, 620 Primrose Ct. The alarm was discovered to be due to maintenance. They returned to service at 11:13 a.m.

Firefighters also recently responded to 12 medical calls as well as once being disregarded en route.
