NEW YORK (PIX11) - Amtrak trains are not running between New York and Philadelphia on Sunday, the company announced Sunday morning.
Downed overhead power wires are blocking the tracks, stalling all trains traveling between Philadelphia and New York. Trains are not expected to resume until at least 12 p.m., according to a representative of Amtrak.
The trains have been suspended since around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
Amtrak will waive charges for affected customers that change their reservations. Customers can call 1-800-USA-RAIL to reschedule.
