John Edmund Silk (Jack) was born in Ottumwa, Iowa to Ed and Virginia Silk. He passed away at 91 years of age on August 25, 2024, in Bonita Springs, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob, sister Nancy, wives Carolyn Sue and Charlotte Silk, and son John.

During his lifetime he opened a toy store, Sky Hobby, in Omaha, Nebraska, and several real estate businesses in Colorado and Florida. He always had a deal to sell you! Jack was very involved in giving back to the communities in which he lived, belonging to the Shriner's, Masons Kiwanis, Rotary, Clown Ministry, and Knights of Columbus to name a few.

Jack is survived by his two daughters, Nancy Watson (Larry) and Cindy Masten (Kelly), his wife Jerrielee and her family, daughter-in-law Cindy Silk, several nieces and nephews, 7 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed and will always have a place in our hearts. We love you, Dad.
