Andrea Christine Wasson, 35, a passenger in a maroon Chevrolet Equinox about 5:30 a.m. Oct. 17, was traveling south in the 1400 block of North Alvernon Way when it veered off the road and struck a wooden utility pole, police say.

The crash caused power lines to arc, igniting a fire on the roof of the complex.

The fire damaged four apartments, but no one was injured in the blaze.
