During their investigation into Payne's death, police revealed additional information about the conditions of his hotel room at the CasaSure Palermo Hotel. The hotel room was shown to have been destroyed by photos, with a smashed television and drug paraphernalia spread around broken objects, according to TMZ. Authorities believe that his erratic behavior and the state of the room could be directly linked to the effects of the drug. Despite this, authorities are still investigating the circumstances that led to Payne's death.
The initial reports suggested that he had fallen from the balcony of his third-floor hotel suite in a state of distress, but the exact cause of his alleged suicide is still unknown. Police theorize that he was experiencing hallucinations caused by the drug, which might have influenced his decision.
